CLI
Storage
Create standalone storage buckets and move files from the terminal.
buildspace storage manages standalone buckets — S3-compatible buckets owned by your organization rather than by a project. See Standalone Buckets for the full feature.
Every <bucket> argument accepts the bucket's slug (e.g. client-uploads) or its id.
List and inspect
buildspace storage list
buildspace storage show client-uploads
buildspace storage list --jsonshow prints the bucket name, S3 endpoint, access, usage, and its access keys (never secrets).
Create
buildspace storage create "Client uploads"
buildspace storage create "Brand assets" --public --description "Logos and press kit"Buckets are private unless you pass --public.
Files
buildspace storage ls client-uploads # bucket root
buildspace storage ls client-uploads invoices/ # one folder level
buildspace storage upload client-uploads ./a.pdf invoices/a.pdf
buildspace storage download client-uploads invoices/a.pdf ./a.pdf
buildspace storage rm client-uploads invoices/a.pdf --yesupload detects the content type from the file extension; override it with --content-type.
Access keys
buildspace storage keys create client-uploads --label prod-app
buildspace storage keys revoke client-uploads <keyId> --yeskeys create prints the endpoint, bucket, access key id, and secret. The secret is shown once.
Public access
buildspace storage public brand-assets on --yes
buildspace storage public brand-assets offDelete
buildspace storage delete client-uploads --yesDeletes the bucket, every file in it, and all of its keys.
